It is now time to focus on the loyal brother, the brave soldier, the highly competent administrator of the north of England, the pounder of the Scots; time to remember the man who brought in special courts to hear the complaints of the poor, who abolished "benevolences" (taxes, unvoted by Parliament, disguised as gifts to the king), and who banned any curbs on the new art of printing." -

Royalty, Nobility, and King Richard III
There were many secrets in the wind, blowing hither and yon for centuries, secrets surrounding those scheming to end Plantagenet rule. Secrecy abounds as to who murdered the two princes? Or if they were murdered at all. Secrets continue to swirl around on the winds of time.
Kings, queens, and nobles of the Roman Catholic faith defied God with endless adulterous affairs and countless illegitimate children, their murderous plots, their greed and pompousness, and the strong will of some to believe they were mightier than God. All carefully guarded secrets...for a time. Yes; they were miserable sinners who kept dark secrets, and yes; they are our ancestors. We love them, not for what they had done or failed to do, but for playing a role in helping to create us, their grateful descendants. More compelling was the might and perseverance of many in the defense of God, Christianity and the Roman Catholic Church, fighting wars to protect the faith.
Richard III Plantagenet, as were many of his forebears, was a great defender of the faith, going so far as to ponder one more Crusade for Christianity. Pious to the end, it was Richard III who was responsible for the first translation of the Bible into English. He held a special devotion for Our Lady and was a dutiful king who regarded his subjects, and who was killed as he prayed God's name unto the last breath of life.
The persecutions of Christians has never ceased. Jesus warned that because of Him, His followers would be hated. Thus, like our noble ancestors, don the Armor of God and stand to defend God, the Christian faith, God's Church, and all that is good and noble.
Moy god bless yaouw always.
